Installed 3 poultry watering cups in the new coop today, and every single one of them has a small leak. Will be great when they work! # Just updated the home page of the farm website with a really cool panoramic picture of the farm! #

Wonders if other farmers have a farm theme song? Mine is “Awakening” by Switchfoot – “you’ve been talking in your sleep, about a dream”. # Just watched “The Story of Stuff” – really interesting short online documentary. A few lines made me cringe, but overall really well-done. # Spent two hours today weed-eating the fence [...] So a few weeks ago, I was exploring (via Twitter), the notion of local food. Much of the discussion around local relates to geographic proximity (i.e less than 20 miles away, in the same county/state/country, etc).
