Shhhhh Don’t tell him he’s a miniature. Meet our new herd sire, a Lowline Angus. Joel Salatin was invited to go to Washington as a part of a “Green Jobs Leadership Summit” after being nominated by Senator Jim Webb. Joel’s quote at the microphone to a panel of US Senators was priceless: We’re changing some of the direction of our herd and I wanted to keep our readers informed. We’ve concluded that our herd bull and first registered Dexter, Shome Breaburn, just doesn’t have he beef genetics that we need. So, although we still love smaller cattle, Braeburn is for sale.
